About

My four years of undergraduate studies at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET LHR) taught me a lot more than just textbook material. I completed my degree of BSc. Electrical Engineering with majors in Power. I am proud to say that I was among the very best in my class. I gained knowledge and experience in the classrooms, laboratory sessions and also through workshops. Power Systems Engineering is the field that I found most interesting, practically satisfying and growing. I have worked diligently these past years to increase my

understanding and the basic concepts of these subjects. My main areas of interest were Power System Planning, Power System Operation and Control, Power System Generation and Distribution and Power System Stability. In order to familiarize myself with the ins and outs of Pakistan’s network and power system I did an internship at National Transmission and Dispatch Company during my third year in the university.

Services

I am currently working as part of a team of system studies engineers to perform system studies required for evaluation of new power projects being set up in the National Grid. I have done Power System network modeling on PSS/E using generation additions and transmission expansion plans and conducting Load flow, Short Circuit and Transient Stability analyses on modeled network. I have also gained considerable understanding regarding modeling of HVDC and FACTS devices in PSS/E.

 Gwadar Long Term Expansion Plan (Pakistan)

 Interconnection Study (Feasibility study) of various Thermal, Coal Fired, Solar,

Wind, Hydel and Bagasse based cogeneration Power Plants being set up in

National Grid of Pakistan.

 Worked on the construction and Review Network diagrams (SLD, AutoCAD,

Electrical Drawings) using PSS/E, AutoCAD, PSCAD, ETAP

 Worked on Cost estimation part of K-Electric Long Term Expansion Plan

 Worked on Cost estimation part of Gwadar Long Term Expansion Plan

 Worked on preparation of Technical proposal and bid Evaluation.
